NIV John 9: 1-5

1. As He went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him,  " Rabbi, Rabbi, who sinned this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"
<< Jesus healing the blind was already predicted in Isa 29:18 and 35:5 >>
2. " Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life. As long as it is day, we must do the work for him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, Ill be the Light of the world."
<< if only the people of today could understand this, there would be less lamentation to the Lord and more Praise.>>

Readings from "The Lost Book if Enoch"

Vs:9 -11
9: But they that God-fearing and righteous in His sight shall rejoice and their sins will be forgiven. And there will be mercy, peace and forbearance; there shall be salvation for the and they will dwell in the Light. Yet, for all of you sinners there shall be no salvation, for you will bear a curse.
Foe the elect, there shat be light, grace, and peace for everyone of you, and you shall inherit the earth.
10: To the elect of God shall be given wisdom, for they shall live and never again live to sin. Either through ungodliness of through pride and arrogance. For those who receive wisdom shall become humble.
11: They shell never again trespass against the Lord, neither sin throughout the days of their lives. They will not die of Gods anger or wrath but they will live their allotted days of life. They shall live in peace and their lives will be spent in joy, in eternal gladness and eternal peace, all the days of their lives.

Readings from "The Lost Book if Enoch"

Chapter 1,  vrs.5
Obsereve how the trees cover themselves with green leaves and some bear fruit. Remember and know that these are from God; thay are his works. Recognise then as such, that He who lives forever made them all. All His work go on from year to year, forever. And all the tasks, which they accoplish for Him, do not change unless He changes them. Also look at the seas and the rivers that do as He commands. But you, you have not stood firm nor carried out the commandment of the Lord, but turned away and spoken with pride and hard words, with impurity of thought and words against His greatness. Oh you hard-headed people; you will never find true peace.

Created blog to inform the World!

This may sound crazy but this is the first of the many ideas I have to increase fellowship at church! Let me know what you think, if you can volunteer or donate . This event is  important to elders, even you!
Senior Prom

The idea of prom when entering the mind brings back a lot of good memories for many of us. The time of fun, friends and freedom. The day of being a child are over and being an adult is at hand. One night can be lived out to last the whole night till morning. Waking to finals and a winding road of work, work, work. Also for many others, prom was just a dance. One way or another prom just never happed for us, and life begian early. The good ol' days were over.

Well thats all changed.

The Past has Just Began

Not just the theme, the past is the lifting point to the future. Old School Style the gym will be decorated to the 1950 style of senior proms, thats right a senior prom, for people 45 or older (chapperones can be youth). With balloons, streamers, stars, and any 50' decore (found or donated). A classic dance off lasting the night, until the king and queen are announced, a DJ is scheduled to be apart. Chapperones will be volunteers, used through-out the night. Brought together with prom photo booth and a podium for presenting "king and queen".

Plans for food, will hopefully be donated from a grocier or by the flock.

Look for advertising on the web, markets, restaurant, book/music stores, librays, care facilitys and possibly channel 4 News.

Prom Rundown

Prom begins: Guest arrive trough the gym. $3 per person, $5 a couple. Each guest /couple recieving a raffle ticket.

(each ticket is registration for the dance off or Bingo)

With the DJ playing 50' top hits, the guest will mingle and enjoy the food. About an hour into event the DJ will announce the Dance off beginning. At this time the guest with the tickets will groove the night away. Chapperones will be at hand to provide the dancers with liquid refreshments for fuel. For the guest not particapating in the dance off may take part in the many other features of our prom. Guest will have a "Prom Picture" taken( photoghrapher is still needed) at the beginning of the prom. Depending on time needed, photos me be presented at prom or mailed. (with different color raffle ticket ) A feature for the non-dancers will be BINGO .

BINGO will be held in the Bistro (room 2-3). With about 4-5 volunteers, the guest will these raffle tickets will be playng for small door prizes. The Bistro will have beverages only.

As the prom closes down the dancers will be eliminated and a "KING and QUEEN" will be crowned and recieve a door prize.

Prom Ends: As guest leave volunteers for the cleanup will begin to orginize and prepare. Clean up can be simple but the toughest lets have team work to close the night at its best. If all goes to plan this could be a 3-5 hour event.
